Habbo and Exodus Film Group Partner to Promote the DVD Launch of the Animated Blockbuster IGOR

Special Insert Allows Access to Customized Virtual Goods at Habbo.com

Los Angeles, Calif. (PRWEB) January 29, 2009 -- Habbo (www.habbo.com), the largest virtual world for teenagers (www.habbo.com), and Exodus Film Group announced today they have partnered to promote the DVD release of the animated blockbuster movie, IGOR.

Only available inside the IGOR DVD, a Habbo insert with a promotional code unlocks access to four customized virtual items available in-game at Habbo.com (www.habbo.com). The themed virtual goods available with purchase of the DVD include an 'evil switch,' a 'hump massaging chair,' a 'laser' and a 'brain.'

"The campaign with Habbo is a unique way to allow our audience to get truly involved with IGOR," said Bruce Auerbach, president of consumer products for Exodus Film Group. "This partnership gives fans of the movie the rare opportunity to virtually own items they can associate with the film, making it even more exciting when they see them on the DVD."

IGOR is a wonderfully wacky tale about a mad scientist's hunchback assistant who longs to be something more, featuring the vocal talent of John Cusack, Molly Shannon, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, Jennifer Coolidge, Arsenio Hall, Sean Hayes, Eddie Izzard, Jay Leno, James Lipton and Christian Slater.

With the launch of the IGOR DVD, new exclusive virtual goods will also be available for Habbos to purchase in-game. Habbos will be able to decorate their Habbo rooms with objects from the movie, including an 'evil bone,' a 'scientific platform,' a 'wall diagram' and a 'scientific flask.'
