HyNote Unveils Enterprise Performance Management in the Cloud

New Managed Service Offering Promises to Democratize Enterprise Performance Management, Expand Usage.

Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) February 17, 2009 -- Economies of scale go out the window in a world of cloud computing. Now, thanks to the scalable architecture intrinsic to the cloud, organizations large and small can leverage the power of enterprise performance management technology at a fraction of the traditional cost. The same new rule applies to many other processing-intensive software applications, including predictive analytics, business intelligence, supply chain management, and so on.

For now, orchestrated consultancy HyNote sees a unique opportunity to focus on EPM. "EPM Cloud provides game-changing functionality at price points that are attractive to organizations large and small," notes Mike Dayton, HyNote's President and co-founder. "Major corporations can expand their use of EPM significantly by dynamically scaling their applications during peak periods, rather than overbuilding their IT infrastructure just to meet user loads that may only peak on a quarterly basis. For smaller organizations that couldn't afford EPM, or couldn't roll out a meaningful program, the cloud offers a whole new world of opportunity."

HyNote's EPM Cloud provides customers with access to the full portfolio of enterprise performance management software solutions available from Oracle's Hyperion suite. Companies can benefit in several ways:

· EPM implementations can be fast-tracked by virtually eliminating infrastructure setup and software installation tasks, thus circumventing the usual red tape that stalls such programs;

· IT operating and support costs can be reduced for existing Hyperion installations, especially for organizations whose programs are geared around several peak periods annually, such as quarterly financial close or planning and forecasting processes;

· POC (proof-of-concept) programs can be rolled out quickly and easily, thereby empowering analysts and line-of-business managers to demonstrate the value of new programs and ideas;

· IT directors can rest assured knowing that their EPM applications and supporting infrastructure are being pro-actively monitored and maintained around-the-clock without the usual internal expenses.

Dayton notes that HyNote is also rolling out a special "sandbox" offering: "We're looking for clients interested in exploring the benefits and ROI of cloud computing with the guidance and support of application and infrastructure experts. To make the experience as risk-free as possible, we have created a sandbox environment where clients can explore a fully functioning EPM suite deployment running in Amazon Web Services' EC2 cloud. For companies willing to publicly support EPM Cloud and share their experience once they've tested it, we are even willing to provide free setup and initial support assistance for creating customized sandbox environments where clients can conduct real-world tests around their specific EPM configuration."

HyNote will demonstrate its new EPM Cloud offering in a Webcast with Amazon Web Services Wednesday, Feb. 18. More information here: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/667510291
